At J9’s Luxury Auto Detailing, our work is held to a high standard. Every service we perform—ceramic coating, paint protection film, window tinting, and professional detailing—is backed by our 30-day Craftsmanship Guarantee. This guarantee exists to give customers confidence in the quality of our labor and clarity about what happens if an issue arises.

Our guarantee is simple:
If something within our workmanship isn’t done correctly, we will fix it or redo it at no cost within 30 days.

This guarantee applies only to the original customer and does not transfer if the vehicle is sold. It also does not replace any manufacturer warranties. The manufacturer covers the product; we cover the craftsmanship.

Below is exactly how the guarantee works for each service.

CERAMIC COATING
WHAT OUR GUARANTEE COVERS
For ceramic coatings, our Craftsmanship Guarantee ensures:

Even coverage across all coated surfaces
No high spots left behind after application
Proper prep and installation that allows the coating to bond and provide UV protection as intended

If a high spot appears or the coating was not applied evenly, we will correct or redo the area at no charge within 30 days.

WHAT THE GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER
• Skipping maintenance
• Tunnel washes
• Harsh chemicals
• Neglect or improper washing
• Wear caused by environmental factors, impacts, or user handling

Manufacturer warranties for coatings cover longevity and performance; our guarantee covers the labor only.

PAINT PROTECTION FILM (PPF)
WHAT OUR GUARANTEE COVERS
With PPF, our guarantee covers:

Proper panel coverage
Accurate alignment
Clean installation using advanced wrapping techniques
Edges secured correctly

We also guarantee that the installation quality will not interfere with the film’s 10-year manufacturer warranty.

WHAT THE GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER
• Expecting invisibility (PPF is a physical film)
• Tiny, acceptable industry-standard imperfections
• Damage from impacts, rock chips outside coverage areas, or improper care
• Issues caused after installation

If a section was installed incorrectly or an edge lifts due to workmanship, we will fix or redo it within 30 days.

WINDOW TINT
WHAT OUR GUARANTEE COVERS
For tint installations, we guarantee:

Clean film in the visual field without noticeable debris or contamination
Properly secured edges
Installation that supports the manufacturer’s lifetime warranty

If a bubble or defect appears due to application, we will correct it at no cost within 30 days.

WHAT THE GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER
• Micro imperfections outside the visual field
• Scratches from seatbelts, pets, or objects
• Damage caused by improper cleaners or rolling windows down too early

Again, the product warranty is separate. Our guarantee covers the installation only.

DETAILING SERVICES
WHAT OUR 7-DAY GUARANTEE COVERS
For detailing, our guarantee ensures:

You receive everything included in the package you selected
The work is completed to professional standards
No steps are skipped or rushed

(ie. If you purchased a Level 1 interior detail, you would receive everything a Level 1 includes—but not shampooing. If you purchased a higher-level interior treatment, deeper cleaning and extraction are included.

WHAT THE GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER
• Expectations outside the selected package
• Permanent stains

• Worn areas appearing more worn after detailing
• Expectation of perfection
• Wear, fading, or damage that detailing cannot correct
• Issues caused after the service

If anything that should have been completed within your package was missed, we correct it within 30 days.

WHAT THE 30-DAY PERIOD MEANS
Customers have 30 days from the date of service to report any workmanship issue. (With the exception of a 7-day notice on detailing services) This timeframe ensures:

• The team can evaluate the vehicle while the work is still fresh or films have properly cured
• Issues caused by installation—not external factors—are easy to identify
• Any redo or correction happens before environmental wear complicates the diagnosis

After 30 days, workmanship claims are no longer eligible, but manufacturer product warranties may still apply depending on the service.

WORKMANSHIP GUARANTEE VS. MANUFACTURER WARRANTY
YOUR GUARANTEE COVERS OUR LABOR.
THE MANUFACTURER WARRANTY COVERS THE PRODUCT.

• Ceramic coatings: manufacturer covers longevity
• PPF: manufacturer covers yellowing, cracking, adhesive failure
• Tint: manufacturer covers fading, color change, delamination

We handle issues caused by installation; the manufacturer handles issues caused by product defects.
