How do you stop this from happening?

Avoid the car wash!

Believe it or not the drive-through car washes are your paints worst enemy.

Your clear coat is microns thick, it's less than half the thickness of a post-it note. Because its so thin, it's very fragile.

When fast moving, stiff bristles and brushes are whipping around; you can guarantee it will leave a mark.

The swirls, spiderwebbing, and lights scratching you see in this picture are what happens when you take your car to the car wash!

How do you avoid it? Hand washing, or touchless washes are fine. To protect your fragile clear coat; consider a paint protection film or a ceramic coating!
