DO YOU OFFER MOBILE DETAILING?

Yes, we offer mobile detailing service throughout the greater Colorado Springs area for an additional $30 fee. Some services cannot be completed in a mobile setting, however, and we recommend that higher-end packages or heavily soiled vehicles be brought into the shop so we can use full-size equipment and deliver the best possible results.

WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?

We are a professional shop that uses only high-quality, industry-grade products, many of which are not available to the general public. Most of the products we use come from trusted suppliers like Colorado Detail Supply and Majestic Solutions. We will also be offering select products for purchase in the shop soon to help you maintain your vehicle’s appearance between professional services.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I WASH MY CAR?

The frequency of washing matters far less than using the correct technique. Tunnel car washes should be avoided at all costs, as the fast-moving bristles will cause damage, sometimes severe and sometimes only visible with a trained eye. Hand washes and touchless washes are the only methods we recommend. You should also wash your vehicle as soon as possible if you get bird droppings, bug residue, tar, magnesium chloride, or road salt on the paint, as all of these can damage the surface when left to bake in the sun.

WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR WHEN HIRING A DETAILING COMPANY?

One of the easiest ways to tell the difference between a qualified detailer and a glorified car washer is by the products they use. Amateurs often use harsh degreasers on vehicle interiors, which can break down carpet fibers and even alter the color of leather and fabric. Always ask what brands and types of products are being used, and if they are the same products you see at big-box stores like Walmart, that is usually a sign they are either very new or not professionally trained. Our governing body, the International Detailing Association (IDA), offers both written and hands-on testing to certify that detailers understand proper techniques and chemical usage, and we strongly recommend choosing a certified detailer. You can even use the IDA’s search tool to find certified professionals in your area.

HOW LONG DOES A DETAIL TAKE?

We are a low-volume, high-quality shop, and we do not rush our work. If speed is your top priority, we may not be the best fit for you. While we do offer a few faster services, most of our detailing appointments take four hours or more because we focus on doing the job right, not doing it fast.

DO YOU WAX IN EVERY DETAIL?

All of our baseline wash services include a carnauba wax. We also offer upgrade options such as paint sealants for longer-lasting protection or ceramic coatings for superior gloss and durability.
