Locally trusted in Colorado Springs Luxury-level service and attention to detail Proper prep before protection Designed for long-term vehicle preservation

Why Get Ceramic Coating?
Your vehicle takes a beating from sun, road grime, water spots, bird droppings, and harsh weather. Wax wears off fast. Cheap coatings overpromise and underdeliver.
A professionally applied ceramic coating creates a durable layer of protection that helps your vehicle stay glossier, cleaner, and easier to maintain.
Ceramic coating helps with:
UV exposure and oxidation Water beading and hydrophobic performance Easier removal of dirt and contaminants Improved gloss and depth Long-term paint preservation Reduced need for constant waxing
Important note: Ceramic coating does not make your vehicle invincible. It is a protection and preservation service, not a substitute for proper washing or paint protection film.
Turn heads
A professionally installed coatings should turn heads. It adds a rich deep gloss to paint while also protecting it from the hazards of Colorado rains, road salts and more.

OUR PROCESS
Our ceramic coating process is built around precision prep — deep decontamination, iron removal, and machine paint correction to ensure the coating bonds to a flawless surface. We don’t rush, cut corners, or hide defects under product; we fix the paint first, then install the coating with meticulous technique and proper curing. That’s why our results last longer, look sharper, and outperform the “quick-coat” shops across the Springs. It’s craftsmanship, not shortcuts, that makes J9’s the top choice for long-term vehicle protection.
1. Wheel Wash
We start with a wheel and tire scrub and wash to get off dirt and grime.

2. Foam Bath
A crucial step to removing dirt is to let the vehicle soak in a foamy soap bath.
A through rinse and scrub to remove dirt and grime.
3. Rinse

4. High PH Soap
This step removes any wax or sealant build up on the vehicle, so we are working with bare paint.

5. Iron Treatment
Iron deposits slowly eat away at your paint causing tiny rust spots. This treatment helps remove the buildup, so we don't seal it in.
This service removes deeply embedded contamination from the clear coat.
6. Clay Bar Treatment

5. Paint Polishing
Even new cars have paint imperfections. (We strongly recommend allowing us to polish your vehicle regardless of age.)

5. Ceramic Coating Application
After all the prep work, we apply the professional grade ceramic coating in small overlapping section for even coverage.
The vehicle sits in our state-of-the-art facility under controlled humidity and temperature for an evenly cured coating.
6. Curing Period

New vehicle owners who want to protect their paint early Luxury and enthusiast vehicles Daily drivers that need easier cleaning Anyone tired of short-term waxes and constant upkeep Owners who care about resale value and long-term appearance

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT IS A CERAMIC COATING?
A ceramic coating is a semi-permanent SiO2 nanoparticle-based paint protection product that doesn't wash away like car wax after several washes. Ceramic coatings are highly resistant to chemicals like acid rain, bird dropping, water spotting etc. Abrasion is the sole method for their removal, whether it's through paint correction or the natural wear and tear from road debris. It's rise to fame came in the form of insane gloss and easy maintenance.
WHAT'S THE MOST COMMON COATING YOU INSTALL?
Our 5 year and 7-year products are by far the most popular. The five-year option is recommended for budget-conscious owners of newer vehicles with less than 10,000 miles that require only minor paint correction before installation. The 7-year install includes a 2-step paint correction and a take-home aftercare kit which is very popular with new and used cars alike.
HOW MUCH DOES A CERAMIC COATING COST?
Packages vary based on paint correction necessary and protection level of coating selected. A range is $600-$3500.
WHAT'S THE MAINTENANCE?
While ceramic coatings offer a high level of paint protection, no coating is invincible. All coatings require regular maintenance to provide the estimated length of protection.
Although using our product line is not required, Fireball products are formulated explicitly to work with ceramic coatings. No matter how highly rated a car wash shampoo is, it can ruin a high-quality ceramic coating in just a few washes if the wrong type is used. Never use a commercial car wash unless it is touchless, and uses pH neutral products, and make sure to follow the recommended drying methods afterwards.
WHY SHOULD I GO WITH J9'S FOR MY COATING?
Our commitment extends beyond just boasting about our customer service or craftsmanship quality. We've been highly trained and certified by Rupes, the inventors of the polish and by Fireball USA our ceramic coating brand. We stand behind our words with tangible proof. Every customer is entitled to a complimentary two-week wash and check-up to guarantee that no detail was overlooked and that both parties are content with the installation. Moreover, you can take pride in your appearance knowing that we are a social impact company dedicated to combating human trafficking in partnership with a local charity.
WHAT BRAND DO YOU INSTALL?
Some people get hung up on brand names because the marketing for those brands is really the only thing separating them from the competition. Several ceramic coating chemists will honestly tell you that the compound is so volatile that there's little difference between manufacturers at the professional level. As a consumer, the most important thing is to find a trusted installer who stands behind their work, ensuring that you only need to comply with the warranty requirements. But we install primarily Fireball USA.
WHAT'S THE CURING TIME?
High-quality ceramic coatings require a minimum of one to two week cure time before withstanding the elements and the first wash (depends on climate). Washing a vehicle too soon could prematurely interrupt the curing process of the coating.
After the ceramic coating has cured, it should be washed around once per week (at least every other week). It is good practice to wash a vehicle any time it gets particularly dirty. A ceramic coating is the key to your car’s exterior looking like new.
Regular washing keeps it clean and prevents dirt, debris or other contaminants from building up on the surface which can cause permanent damage over time. Regular washing will also help to prevent water spots that are also damaging to the coating.
WILL A CERAMIC COAT PREVENT SCRATCHES OR ROCK CHIPS?
The short answer is no. A ceramic coatings' primary function is to add a super slick hydrophobic layer that protects your paint from CHEMICAL hazards, not physical ones. Why most people get ceramic coatings is to protect from the road salts and winter grime, adding a deep long last gloss to the paint and the lower number of times a wash is needed to look good. If rock chips and scratches are a concern, you're wanting to look into a paint protection film.
DOES CERAMIC COATING REPLACE WAXING?
The phrase 'never wax again' was coined from the ceramic coating industry. One of the many benefits is that you no longer have do monthly wax coating to protect your paint.
CAN I APPLY CERAMIC COATING ON PPF?
Absolutely. Clear bra paint protection film usually comes infused with a top layer of ceramic coating but that layer wears quickly. Adding an additional longer life coating is a great way to protect your investment.
CAN YOU CERAMIC COAT MATTE PAINT OR MATTE WRAP?
Yes. While a ceramic coating is known for its rich deep gloss, adding it on top of a matte finish adds a lot of depth creating more a satin finish.
WHATS THE DIFFRENCE BETWEEN CERAMIC COATING AND CLEAR BRA?
Ceramic coatings protect against chemical hazards whereas as clear bra protects against physical ones. Read more on this helpful article here.
CAN YOU DO A CERAMIC COATING AS A MOBILE SERVICE?
Technically yes, however we do not offer this service mobile for a number of reasons. The wash process needs to be done indoors, if you saw our step-by-step process you'll see we do a n iron treatment. This is a critical step that should not be skipped and cannot be done in direct sun or be allowed to dry on the paint. Additionally, we cannot control the environment, reduce condemnation or ensure the humidity is exactly where we want it. So, while you may be able to find someone who offers this service, we strongly recommend against it.
CERAMIC COATING FOR CARS NEAR ME
If you are searching the general Colorado Springs market for the best place to get a ceramic coating for your car there are some things you should consider. 1. Not all coatings are created equal. 2. Most paint needs correction prior to install so make sure you are comparing apples to apples. 3. Not all shops are created equal. You will always find someone who will do it cheaper. This equates to a cheaper product, and an inexperienced installer. It's worth the little bit extra for a quality coating. Brand to brand there is much difference if its consumer grade. Meaning if you can go online and buy it, you probably don't want it on your car. They're easy to install and DIY coatings. Expert coatings take effort and precision, and they perform much better.
CAN YOU CERAMIC COAT A BOAT?
Yes! There really isn't too much out there that can't benefit from a ceramic coating. From your shower door to a tombstone. Boat ceramic coatings really help keep the slime and algae build up off.
HOW DOES PROFESSIONAL CERAMIC COATING COMPARE TO DIY KITS?
Well, this is a complicated question. This comparison is like comparing a box kit cake mix to a professional bakery. At the end you still have a cake but one is going to be significantly better than the other. DIY kits are meant to be easy to install so the formulation is different to ones only certified professionals can get. We fix people who try DIY kits all the time, high spots are inevitable and unless you have a quality polisher and experience with correcting paint - I'd suggest staying away. What really makes a ceramic coating pop is the quality of correction to the paint prior to install. Installing coatings isn't particularly difficult but it does require some skill. Much like the cake analogy, are you trying to impress people or just want cake?
